Privacy Policy

This policy explains what happens to data when you visit jobs.classpawa.com.

The short version

This site has no accounts, no logins, no newsletter and no contact form. We do not ask you for your name, your email address, your immigration status or your financial details, and we have no database of readers.

What does collect data is the advertising and analytics that fund the site, and that is run by Google and its partners rather than by us.

What we collect directly

Nothing that identifies you.

If you email the address on the contact page, we hold that email in order to reply to it. It is not added to any list, and it is not shared.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes connection data — including your IP address — in order to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. See Cloudflare's own privacy policy for how it handles that data.

Advertising

This site carries advertising served through Google.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
• You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
• Alternatively, you can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices or, in Europe, at youronlinechoices.eu.

Third-party ad networks other than Google may also place cookies through Google's ad exchange. We do not control which vendors participate in any given auction and cannot list them individually.

Analytics

Where Google Analytics is enabled, it sets cookies to measure page views and how visitors move through the site. It is used in aggregate — to see which guides get read — and not to identify individuals. Google's data practices are described at the partner-sites link above.

Local storage

Some parts of the site store a small value in your browser's local storage — for example, to remember that you have already dismissed something, so you are not shown it repeatedly within 24 hours. This stays in your browser, is not transmitted to us, and is cleared when you clear your browsing data.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR you have the right to access, correct or erase personal data held about you, and to object to processing. Since this site holds no personal data beyond emails you have sent us, a request will usually be answered by confirming that there is nothing on file, or by deleting the email thread.

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected and to opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information. The advertising described above may constitute "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising under the CCPA, and the opt-out links in the advertising section are the route to stop it.

Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes

Changes to this policy are made on this page and the updated date is changed. Material changes to how data is handled will be described rather than quietly substituted.
